Resident Evil: Resistance is an online multiplayer game that was bundled with the Resident Evil 3 remake. The game provided an interesting concept, with four players competing against one "mastermind" who tries to kill players with traps and enemies. I remember playing the game as Jill for the first time and the storyline tried to shape Barry Burton as the possible traitor, then being totally mind blown when you view the slides in the lab and see Wesker alongside his fellow researchers. These days that twist is almost comically obvious, but back then, playing it for the first time when I was just a kid, it was a bombshell moment.

The best Resident Evil game is Resident Evil 4. Why have I been blocked? The first home console Resident Evil to take place on a boat is Resident Evil: Dead Aim. Gaiden on the Game Boy Color previously had the setting, but that entry isn't canon. Technically the fourth survivor title, you play as Bruce McGivern as he explores the wildly named Spencer Rain ship.

This kind of response always encourages a developer and a publisher. Capcom has been working pretty hard the last few years on these games, and they have reignited interest in them in the hearts of survival horror fans. This fever started with Resident Evil VII, and they are yet to make a game that fans do not like.
